EVERETT, Wash., Dec. 6, 2006 -- The Dreamliner Gallery represents an innovative approach for airline customers to configure Boeing 787 airplanes by centralizing configuration activities and providing one-stop shopping. The 54,000-square-foot facility, designed with renewable materials, provides airline customers the ability to see, touch and experience the 787 catalog choices in a private, comfortable environment. Customers can configure their 787s in the Gallery beginning January 2007.
An existing 1101 J.H. Carr design was chosen for the Dreamliner Gallery. The My Design Team from Orlando Florida wanted to know if J.H. Carr would be interested in working with some other designs as well as producing the sofas for the Dreamliner Gallery. J.H. Carr jumped right in and worked with the designers to produce these exciting designs. All, including many of the existing J.H. Carr designs are available in love seats and sofas. In fact J.H. Carr has been known to create a sofa nearly 20' long for the University of Washington.
A special theatre seat was designed with cup holders that doubled as table mounts so people could take notes. Front casters and a handle on the back allowed for easy room configuration.

The J.H.Carr 1102 was used liberally in the 54,000 square foot space.
